So we are delighted to unveil a brand new way of reaching London audiences and bringing your brand into the everyday lives of millions of people – by advertising on the reverse of the Oyster top up receipts.

Oyster cards have revolutionised travel in London, with nearly 50 million cards issued. Many people prefer to top up their cards at Oyster Ticket Stops in newsagents, garages, off licenses and shops across the capital. More than a third of Oyster users privilege this method, which will enable us to serve 28 million adverts to Londoners and visitors every single month.

Our research shows that some 96% of people who top up their cards at these locations take a receipt, with a staggering 95% of people actively interested in redeeming vouchers or promotions they see on the back of their receipts.

Interestingly, the presence of adverts on receipts actually makes people more likely to top up at Oyster Ticket Stops in order to be served with your advert. 60% of the people we polled stated that they would opt for this top up method in order to get vouchers and promotional deals.

Oyster receipts also provide another great way of reaching a young, socially active London audience, with 61% of the audience aged 16-44, and people regularly topping up on the way to socialise with friends.
